Taos offers competitive base salaries to all of our staff and more!

  • Extra Pay

Used to working extra hours, but only getting paid for 40? Not at Taos! Just because you're in an exempt position doesn't mean you can't get paid extra for extra time. Our extra pay plan compensates salaried consultants at a premium rate of 113% of base salary for every billable hour over 80 in a two-week pay period.

  • Pay for Taos Projects

You can also earn extra pay by participating in Practice Community Projects such as conducting technical interviews, creating best practices, mentoring junior members of your practice, or creating and delivering trainings or technical talks.

Even if you come and go from Taos, your total time with us will accrue from where you left off. And your vacation time will increase with your tenure at Taos.

Year 0 to Year 1 = 10 Days

Year 1 to Year 2 = 11 Days

Year 2 to Year 3 = 12 Days

Year 3 to Year 4 = 15 Days

After 4 years with Taos you will accrue an additional day per year up to 25 days maximum!

    Through our TravelConnect program, a global network of professionals is available to provide a full range of 24-hour emergency services when you are traveling more than 100 miles away from home for either business or pleasure. A few examples include medical consultation by a Western-trained and/or English speaking physician, hospital admission guarantee and legal and lost luggage assistance.

Comprehensive Coverage for Health and Well Being

  • Medical and Vision Care

Taos provides health plans through Anthem Blue Cross PPO and Kaiser (HMO). The HMO options are currently only available to California employees. Vision coverage is provided by VSP for all participants.

Taos contributes 90% of the premiums for all eligible salaried employees and 50% of the premiums for an employee's eligible dependents. Your contribution is paid through a pre-tax payroll deduction.

We offer a self-funded dental plan administered by Guardian.  You are 100% covered for all preventive, basic, and major services, up to $1500 per person per year, not to exceed $3000 for the family - even with dentists who don't participate with the Guardian network!

Employees may purchase gym passes to Club One and 24 Hour Fitness for only $3.50 per pass!

Disability & Life Insurance

  • Supplemental Disability Insurance

Plan to become pregnant? Or do you play extreme sports on the weekend? In the event of a short-term or long-term disability, Taos carries extra insurances to help you. If you become disabled, Lincoln Disability Insurance will integrate with other sources of deductible income (i.e. Social Security, State Disability, etc.) to replace 60% of your earnings, up to a weekly maximum of $2350, after a 14-day waiting period. For the long-term policy, after a 180-day waiting period, Lincoln will replace 60% of your earnings, up to $10,000 per month.

  • Life Insurance

Taos provides basic group Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance for all eligible employees. The policy payout is 100% of annual earnings up to a maximum of $300,000. Employees also have the option to purchase additional Voluntary Life and/or Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance for themselves, up to 5 times their salary not to exceed $500,000, and insurance for their spouses and children.

Immediate Tax and Future Retirement Savings Programs

  • Flex Spending

The Flexible Spending Account (FSA or Cafeteria Plan) offers two components that both allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars for expenses you are already paying for! You may participate in one or both components, depending on what is most appropriate for you and your family.

  • Dependent Care: You can set aside up to a $5,000 maximum in a pre-tax account that can be used to pay for the care of eligible dependents. This includes most day care expenses for minor children and home care expenses for elderly parents.

  • 401k

Taos has an excellent 401k program administered by ING, with full online access for managing and monitoring investments. You can participate at any time and take advantage of immediate vesting in the company match. The plan accepts rollover contributions from former qualified 401k plans.
